The annual battle between the (2-9) Army Black Knights and the (7-4) Navy Midshipmen is slated to take place this Saturday from the home of the Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.

College football oddsmakers list Navy as favorites by a touchdown and a point-after over Army and the OVER/UNDER equals 56.5 points. This will be a battle between two teams that haven?t exactly set the world on fire in the betting world.
For Army, they come in with a 3-8-0 ATS record and a 5-5-0 mark in O/U wagers. Only 35% of the betting public believes that the Black Knights will be able to keep this game close, while an anemic 13% of NCAAF betting experts agree.
From a pure matchup standpoint, there are only two things Army does better than Navy: Yards gained and time of possession.
?I can?t prove it on the scoreboard, but I know we?re gaining on them,? said Army coach Rich Ellerson. ?We believe this is a fair fight. Nobody needs to have an out-of-body experience in order for Army to win this game.?
This means that the Midshipmen excel in five of the seven statistical categories that matter in this matchup. These include: Points per game, yards allowed, Red Zone accuracy, kicking and special teams and penalties.
As Navy looks for its 11th consecutive win over Army, head coach Ken Niumatalolo attributes his team?s success on fortune.
?I can?t really explain it. We?ve just been fortunate,? he said. ?There have been some tough games, some close games. Our guys have found a way to pull them out.?
Navy comes into the college football finale with a 4-7-0 ATS record and went 3-7-0 this year in O/U bets. Nevertheless, for this matchup, everyone seems to be on the same page.
